SPEECHOUSE was founded in 2006 by Tarkan Ersubaşı and his co-workers, combining their experience in Voice Systems and Call Center Technologies for over 14 years and with the aim of giving services in Advanced Speech Technologies.

Understanding the complexities of the over-the-phone speech systems, advocating for the needs of the end-user and working with the system integrator to develop the prompts, call flows and related interactions of the end-user experiences to achieve the best accuracy and highest transaction completion rates.
Speech Recognition Science
For complex speech applications that permit wide latitude in the language spoken by callers, SPEECHOUSE uses scientists whose job is to tune the speech recognition engine for the best possible performance. This activity includes collecting data from live callers and training the recognizer on such data. It also involves extensive interaction between the speech scientist and the VUI designer to generate the best prompting and system performance.
Application Development
Creating and coding the actual software application.
Systems Integration
A major issue with speech recognition deployments is the overall systems integration. IVR systems are usually integrated into large telephony environments. This includes database, telephony and DTMF integration. This activity involves ensuring that the system meets overall performance requirements, including response time and CPU-usage, among other factors.
Reporting
The iterative nature of the Speech Recognition System means that enhancements are always possible. The reporting activity involves keeping detailed logs on the system’s performance, such as transaction completion rates, recognition accuracy, response times and related factors, and generating reports that can be used to troubleshoot and otherwise locate areas in which the system may be performing sub-optimally.
